Frequently Asked Questions
What is coaching and how is it different from mentoring?
Coaching is a thought partnership that helps leaders unlock their potential, expand awareness, and achieve meaningful results. Unlike mentoring, which is based on advice and experience-sharing, coaching is centered on you—your goals, values, and context.
How does the coaching process work?
We begin with a discovery conversation to clarify your goals, context, and what success would look like for you. From there, we create a tailored coaching plan. Sessions are a mix of reflection, challenge, and practical tools. Between sessions, you’ll apply insights directly to your work and life. The process is iterative: we pause often to recalibrate and track progress.
What is expected of me as a client?
Coaching works best when you show up openly, honestly, and with a willingness to experiment and be challenged. The more you bring to the space, the more transformative it can be. My role is to create a trusted container; your role is to lean in, explore with honesty, and take action between sessions.
What results can I expect from executive coaching?
Clients often report clearer thinking, stronger presence, healthier boundaries, improved team dynamics, and greater confidence in decision-making. Beyond professional growth, many experience deeper alignment between their work and personal values, leading to a stronger sense of fulfillment and impact.
Is the coaching confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of coaching. What we discuss stays between us, unless you explicitly choose to share it. If an organization sponsors your coaching, I may provide them with progress updates, but only with your agreement and never disclosing details of our conversations.
How do we start working together?
The first step is a complimentary chemistry call. This is a chance to get to know each other, discuss your goals, and see if coaching feels like the right fit. If it does, we’ll create a tailored plan together.
